Clothes are certainly an important part of someone's appearance and they can say much about someone's character, so it is understandable that people frequently change their style along with their personality shifts. This can result is unwanted old clothes that simply don't find their place in our homes anymore. Whether the reason is style preference or that we've grown out of our favorite blouse and it is now a few sizes too small, we often end up with disposable clothes.
People also buy an incredible amount of clothing items sometimes on spontaneous whims, which is a bad idea and is also one of the reasons so many are thrown away. To stop this, we should always think about whether we really need what we're buying or not.
People can give away their unwanted clothes to children in need, or even adults. Maybe you even have a family member who could use your old things. In any case, it's better to give them away than to throw them in the trash. Personally, I try giving them to whoever I can find.
