Many play harmful music that hurts the ears of passers-by. That's why it's important to understand how street musicians make money.

Most professional musicians make money playing at restaurants or bars. They play for tips from people who want to enjoy the music. Playing in public spaces enables singers to earn money without having to stop their performances. This is an easy way for them to earn money without quitting their existing gigs. Plus, this type of work is good for the community since it draws people into public spaces to listen to music. Employers appreciate when workers find creative ways to make money off the conditions they provide them with.

On the other hand, street musicians have no set hours or employers. They're free to play as much as they want and wherever they want. This makes it easy for them to find new gigs and keep things interesting. Anyone can approach a street musician and ask if they want to play for pay. If they accept, that's when they start making money. Since there are no restrictions on where a street musician can play, this makes sense from a business perspective. However, unethcial performers may scare away customers with harmful rumors or inappropriate songs played too loud. Understanding what makes a good musician good is key when considering what jobs are good jobs for musicians in general.
