2. Copycat- copy another’s behaviour, style, idea. She is a copycat who follows her sister.
Dark horse- someone who keeps their ideas secret. She is a dark horse. I didn’t know she can play the guitarist
Monkey business- bad behaviour. Some monkey business was done by the boys, during the break.
White elephant- expensive but not useful. She realised that the toy will become a white elephant , because she will not be able to play it.
Crocodile tears/ not really sad. The crocodile tears could not trick the judge.
Horse of another colour- something different in comparison with something else- Geography is ok, but math is a horse of another colour
Take the bool by the horns- confront, deal with the problem. Jake was frightened, but he took the bull by the horns and told the truth.
Wolf in sheep’s clothing- looks harmless, but actually dangerous. He appeared to be friendly, but turned out a wolf in sheep’s clothing.
