The way people treated their hair always piqued my interest, especially when I was really young and my mom would dye strings of her aging hair into multiple contrasts of colours.
Going into teenagehood, I unfortunately lost that love I had for hair, mainly because I was told being a hairdresser isn't going to help me in life and I should strive to do something greater. But tell me this, wasn't Martin Luther King Junior who once said and I quote "If a man is called to be a street sweeper, he should sweep streets even as Michelangelo painted, or Beethoven composed music or Shakespeare wrote poetry. He should sweep streets so well that all the hosts of heaven and earth will pause to say, 'Here lived a great street sweeper who did his job well."? It's not about the money or the status, it's about who I have been called to be. Wanting to help people style and take care of their appearance, hair wise, has always been on my heart, for since I can remember. I want to be there for their highest and their lowest, knowing that if I am able to put a smile on their face by simply getting their hair done properly, I'll know I'll be fulfilled for life.
Concluding, if I'm destined to be a hairdresser, then know I'll give it my all no matter what the world around me says, because since when was it popular to listen to those who hate you?
Sper ca am putut fi de mare ajutor, baftă la scoala și în continuare, Domnul sa te binecuvanteze! <3 <3
