If i had known what was going to happen, i would have never made that phone call.

I was getting ready to go on a trip with my best friend Joana, my brother Ryan and my other best friend Lucas. We were packing up amd ready to go to a remote area.

C'mon Ryan! I said. How long are you staying in there?!

Two more minutes! Said my brother who was showering.

I'll be waiting for you in the car. Hurry up! Joana and mark are waiting for us!

I got outside, slammed the door, and got in the back of a mini bus. My brother finally made it, and we hit the road. After 4 hours, drained we stopped by a shop,and giving Ryan the money, sent him to buy some drinks.

-Ryan-

I took the money from Miriam, and came near the front door of the shop. It made of clear glass-well not so clear, since it was stained with red paint and scratches all over it. As i entered the shop, i looked around. The shop was white with rafts made out of wood painted red, having it filled with all kinds of fruits-papaya, mango, and on the onther shelf polaroid cameras and kitchen knifes, coming in blue and green packaging. As i looked around, i finally found the drinks. They were in a darker corner, near the counter. As i took 3 cans of coke, i went up to the counter to pay, but there was no none there.So i shouted. HALLO!? I said.

Silence.

HALLO?!!

Finally, a old man shuffling, came up to the counter. He wore a pair of blue dungarees with a black leather belt and a brown cowboy hat.

Ahhh! Sorry about that! He said. I was fixing a pipe!

Nah its okay, i said, suddenly feeling a bit uneasy.

That will be 20 dollars, young man.

i paid and turned around, going back to the van.

-Miriam-

As Ryan turned around, the mans eyes lighted up, and he suddenly launched himself at Him. Ryan, surprised, didnt even have time to scream before he was down. The man stabbed him with a knife and got up, licking the blood, and suddenly transforming himself into Ryan.

You finally came back! I said, annoyed. What took you so long?

Ah, nothing, sorry about that.

I noticed as we went on our way that Ryan was behaving rather weirdly - he was getting fidgety, and wasn't complaining and making any rude remarks at all.

We finally arrived at our destination, and built up two tents-me and Joana would sleep in a black tent, while the boys would sleep in a dark green one.

After talking and staying up until 11,we finally said goodnight and went to sleep,but i couldnt fall assleep. At 2 AM i manged to doze of, but i woke up a 3 AM, feeling that somebody was watching me. After 6 minutes of trying to sleep, i suddenly heard some noises from the boys tent. I woke Joana up, and we both went out to investigate.

As we got to the tent, we opened the zip and gasped in horror. There was Mark, boddy ripped to pieces, and intestines spread all over the place. I covered my nose to stop tje foul smell of blood, and Joana was trembling in shock.

Wh-who did this? I said, tears falling from both of our faces. Suddenly we heard a twig snap-and u turned around quickly. There was Ryan, hands fool of blood, but with an unmatching expression. To my suprise, he looked scared. Thinking that our brother was the murderer, me joan started running frantically, until we arrived to an open area near a road. I stopped, trying to catch my breath, and wiped away another tear. I can't believe he would do that! I said. But suddenly, looking around, Joan was nowhere to be seen. I suddenly reached into my pocket and pulled out the phone, trying to diall 911. No signal. Frantically i tried again. No input signal. I crashed the phone into the ground and started crying even more.
