In my opinion it is very important to learn foreign languages, as quoted "one language sets you in a corridor for life. Two languages open every door along the way" the more foreign languages you learn, and know fluently, will benefit you long term, it will become easier to access and achieve something in your life due to the more resources you may find and use to reach your goal.
