As I was approaching the stage, I looked over at my parents smiling at me. I then got on stage and started reading my composition. "Desire took over me, i wanted to control my fear but I just couldn't. Instead I choose to blankly stare at the wooden wall.........", and so on. When I finished, I looked up. I saw galring eyes looking at me. I quickly got of stage and waited for the winner of the competition to be announced. As I heard my name yelled through the microphone, I ran on stage. I grabbed my teacher in for a hug. She was proud of me. I was pround of myself too. After all, I did win the prize.
