1.  People write letters because it's a good wat to connect with people who are far away from each other.

2.  I don't like writing letters because I think it's more convenient to send a message with the mobile phone.

3.  To send a letter you need to write the addres on the postcard of  someone you want to send it to. After that you give it to the postman and he'll know what to do with it.

4. To send a parcel you need to go to the post office.
