They were only two Americans stopping at the hotel . They didn't know any of the people whom they already met earlier that day on their way to their room . Their room was on the second floor facing the sea. It was raining for hours . The American wife was standing at the window looking out. Outside , right under their window , a cat was sitting under one of the dripping green tables trying to make herself so compact that she wasn't dripped on.
I went down and get that kitty which was trying to keep dry under a table.
