I think that it is better to shop in supermarkets than in small local shops because they are more truthful and accurate when it comes to the prices. In small local shops I see bigger prices than the ones in the supermarket very often but I still don't know the reason. I also think that in supermarkets the quality is way better and the variety is bigger. But if you are in a small town and you really need to get something to drink or to eat like water or some sandwich you could obviously go to a local shop because it is closer and easier to get to, but when it comes to more important things like clothes or shoes, I think that a supermarket will do the best job for you. I even verified the quality myself and I got to the result that the clothing sold in supermarkets has a way better quality that the one sold in local shops. I also think that if you want to buy a lot of stuff like food for you to have it for a longer period of time you could find a bit of time to go to the supermarket so you don't spend to much money, but if you only need some fruits or vegetables you can actually save some time by going to the local shop. In conclusion, both of them are useful to all the people, but I consider supermarkets as better options to buy things at.
