Last December, Dad made us a surprise: a holiday in Austria. Mom packed all our things, including our skis, in the trunk of the car just the next day after Christmas. We left early in the morning because it was a long way to Zell am See. We arrive at the hotel late in the evening, but the receptionist was very kind and helped us with our luggage. The next morning we woke up early and wanted to go to ski. Dad was quite exhausted and he didn't want to leave the room. Mom went to the breakfast room and wanted to make some sandwiches for all of us, but she was not allowed to take them out of the room, so she phoned us and we had to go and eat there. The sandwiches were delicious! I was happy thinking that in less than an hour I would be skiing. I wasn't lucky. It started raining and we couldn't go out. As it was a good a nice hotel, Dad said we should go to the pool and play in the warm water. Mom went to the spa for a massage and said after she joined us that she felt she was a different person. I was looking at her, but she was the same Mom.
