Miturile sunt povesti traditionate care apar intr-un trecut atemporal. Ele implica elenemente supernature si sunt dincolo de frontierele logicii. Cu multi ani in urma, cand stramosii nostrii auzeau tunete si vedeau fulgere, erau adesea speriati pentru cu nu puteau intelege aceste intamplari. Pentru a intelege acestea si alte evenimente naturale, au creat povesti. Povestile lor erau spuse(pronuntate) din generatie in generatie in toata lumea.
