Every year, we have traditions of celebrating the holidays that we love. We liked to celebrate New Year’s Day, Valentine’s Day, St. Patrick’s Day, Easter, 4th of July, Halloween, and Thanksgiving. But Christmas is a special one...for me .In December, different cultures celebrate these three holidays. They are Hanukkah for Jews, Christmas for Christians, and Kwanzaa for African Americans. The holiday that I love to celebrate is Christmas. I’m sure you feel the same way, too. Ever since Christmas became a holiday, parents and kids remembered to decorate their homes with Christmas items. They put lights, balls, and ornaments around their tree, including the star or angel that goes on top. They also wrap presents so that they can give them to their family members on Christmas Day. No matter how old they get, it’s a special tradition that Christians follow. That’s why it is important for everyone on Earth. I loved to watch Christmas movies in December. My favorite holiday movies are Beauty and the Beast: The Enchanted Christmas, How the Grinch Stole Christmas, Mickey’s Once and Twice upon a Christmas, The Santa Clause trilogy, and The Polar Express. They have one thing in common, celebrating Christmas Day. Christmas has always been my favorite time of the year. Ever since we started school in the past years, we all had memories of having fun with each other, planning our future goals, and talking about the holidays that we loved to celebrate, including Christmas. Last December, I made an essay of “The Reason I Love Christmas.” I wrote about getting ready for our Winter break, what Christmas is about, and why it’s important to me.  After all, Christmas is my favorite holiday.
