Sometimes the symbolic meaning of words can be so powerful that people are willing to risk their own lives or take the lives of others. Words are potent weapons for all causes, good or bad. It reveals both, the history and also our personal experience. I think we take words -language - very much for granted, just as we take our eyes, our power of vision for granted. I started to think about this when I noticed a deaf girl sitting in the same bus where I was. At the moment when the bus started to move she put her hands in a shape of a heart and showed it to her parents. They answered with the same gesture. It is said that there is a great power in the spoken word, but perhaps there is a far greater power in silence. Therefore I would like to wish everybody to use words when and where they are really needed, to talk with sense and to get the message the people around send you.
