 .... I got to school late because I ve overslept and lost the bus. But that was not the real reason I was late. In the bus station two teenagers started a fight, and one of them  was a girl. They were lovers as I managed to hear and the argue was about her wanting to break up with him. The quarrel grew bigger, the boy slaped the girl, and it was there that I interfered telling him to let her go. But he got really angry, and this time with me. It s useless to say I defended myself the best I could. He got beaten up, I got beaten even worse. And in the meantime, buses kept coming and going Finally, I took one and went to school. Late, very late, of course.
