Honesty is indeed one of the best policies. While it may be hard to hear sometimes, telling the truth and being completely honest with a person is the best thing you can do for them. It is greatly appreciated by them, in one way or another, or wether they show it or not. When two people are honest with eachother, there are no lies involved, and they can have a healthy and happy relationship. Wether it's a simple friendship or if it's a romantical relationship, honesty and truthfulness is a great sorce of trust between two or more people.
