My favourite wild animal is the lion. The female is a large mammal wich lives in Africa and the North of India. It usually lives in a family group.

The lion has got a round head, two big black eyes and a large mouth with white sharp fangs.

The female's head is like a cat's head. But the male has got a nice heavy mane around the neck.

Its body is strong and it is covered with yellowish fur.

The four strong legs have big and soft paws. They finish with sharp claws. The claws help the lion run fast and catch the prey.

Lions usually hunt at night. They eat meat and bones because they are carnivourous animals.

Their babies are very small, but when they grow, they are fierce.
