A) I do agree with this statement.
B) Older people have more difficulties then other people, but again, that depends on the person. Some people are still able to walk, talk and hear normally at that age, but most of them aren't. Most of their partners have passed and their relatives, if they have any, don't visit them. They also have disabilities or illnesses.
C) There are a lot of solutions depending on the case. For example, if they can't walk properly, you should help them in situations like crossing the street, opening doors, carring grocery bags etc.
Also, relatives should be there for them, because loneliness is bad at any age.
D) I think this solutions would make their lives at that age a lot easier.
