Dear Steve,
Thank you for your letter. I _was_ very glad to hear that you _are_ fine. As for me, I _had_ a great time here at the seaside. Now I _am lying_ on the beach and I _am writing_ to you. The sun _is shining_ and the seagulls _are flying_ high in the sky. My sister _is building_ a sand castle and my mother _is swimming_ now. It is 5 o'clock and we _have just come back_ from a trip round the city. In summer, excursions usually _start_ very early as it _is_ very hot during the day. We _saw_ an ancient temple and a modern museum. We _ate_ at a national restaurant and _tried_ the local food. The food _was_ delicious! My parents _are planning_ to visit some more interesting sights. Day by day this holiday _is becoming_ more and more exciting. I think I _have written_ enough about  my holiday. I have to go because every day at 5.45 p.m my father and I _have_ a scuba diving lesson.
