Hansel and Gretel is about two brothers. Their father loved them, but their mother didn't, and the mother kept telling the father to go with Hansel and Gretel in the woods so he could get rid of them. Hansel heard what they said and the second day he got his pocket full of little rocks. while their father is taking them into the woods, Hansel threw a little rock while they walked so they can go back home. The other day their father took them to the woods again and Hansel now threw little pieces of bread on the way home but the birds ate them, so they lost themselves in the forest and came across a witch's house. Once they entered they saw Hansel being stuffed by the witch with wallnuts and trying to throw him into the oven, but Gretel pushed the witch into the oven and saved him. They came back home happy and safe.
