I prefer to travel the old fashioned way by foot. If I have to go over 5 miles I may take a car. Also if I have a lot of packages I will take the car. If I am traveling within the country but to another state. I like to take the train. If I am traveling outside the country I fly. But I may consider taking a boat next time. I like them all. But my favourite is to travel by train. I like the sensation. You can enjoy the view or read a good book. The train is not as fast as the car and that's why it is a good way to see the surroundings. Furhermore, you save some money you you take the train. The best part is that is has the old-fashioned charm. This appeals to me everytime as there's something refreshingly traditional about taking a train. Also, you can take a lot of luggage with you on a train whereas while travelling by plane per example, you have a certain limit of weight, or you can just pay for the extra luggage. If you travel by train, you can take everything with you for free. 
Personally, I like to travel by plane because it is peaceful and I can enjoy my books in silence.
