How did I spend my summer vacantion??

This summer was very interesting and fun! I met new friends, had fun, and was happy. I also went to my grandparents. There I helped them with what I could, everyone was proud of me. I thank all those who made this summer more interesting for me!
The summer of 2021 will always hold quite a special place in my heart. Although it may have seemed like a regular summer break, for me it was different. It was the first time after the pandemic when I truly felt relaxed and at peace.
In the first few weeks, I spent my days at home, simply lounging around and enjoying my free time. Soon, I started meeting up with friends, catching up and having fun together.
By July, I had already experienced genuine happiness quite a few times and that only made me more enthusiastic for the next two months.
I enjoyed a week at the seaside with my family, where we created some beautiful memories. Immediately after we got back, we went to the mountains for a couple of weeks. We mostly spent our days hiking and exploring the wonders of nature. The forests were filled with magnificent waterfalls and canyons that truly impressed me.
However, fun doesn't come without a twist, I sprained my ankle during one of our hikes and my family had to take me to the hospital and return early from holiday. I was quite unhappy with this sudden change of plans, but I had to adapt. I spent most of my days doing my homework for the upcoming school year and having fun conversations with the nurses.
For other people, this might not have seemed unique at all, but for me it meant a lot.
Life has almost gone back to normal, just like before the pandemic, and that really made this summer unforgettable.
