Long ago in Greece,people believed that there were many gods and goddesses.Most of the very important ones,it was thought,lived on top of a high nountoin.However,many beautiful young gaddesses were supposed to live in the forests.
Of all these woodland goddesses,the merriest end best liked was named Echo.Echo was very fond of talking..Her voice souned like water bubbling in a stream.No matter what was said it held listeners in a magic spell,so they forgot everything else.
