Aici citeste ziarul de dimineata si dupa ce afla ultimele vesti isi incepe lucrul. Meseria ei nu ete dificila. Sorteaza scrisorile in functie de subiect, apoi merge la seful ei si i le arata. Impreua hotarasc ce este de facut pentru ziua uratoare. Ziua se sfarseste la 4:30. Se intoarce acasa pe jos. Numai cand este f oosita ia metroul spre casa. Cand ajunge face iar dus, mananca o salata apoi se uita la televizor,Rareori se intalneste cu cate o prietena.Atunci mrg la teatru sau vizioneza cat un film impreuna. In week-end isi viziteaza de obicei parintii. Acestia ocuiesc intr-un oras apropiat si intotdeauna se bucura sa aiba un oaspete.

Helen wakes up every day at 8 sharp. She takes (sau "has") a shower, drinks her coffee and them leaves for the office. Here, she reads the morning paper and after finding out the last news she starts work. Her job is not difficult. She sorts letters according to the subject, and then she goes to her boss and shows them to him. They decide together what's to be done for the the next day. The work day ends at 4:30 p.m. She returns home by foot. Only when she is too tired she takes the tube.  When she arrives she has another shower, eats a salad and then she watches TV. She seldom meets a friend. With this occasion they go together to the theater or to the movie. In weekends she usually visits her parents. They live in a nearby town and are always glad to have guests.
