Este vorba despre past simple, dar verbul "to be" nu urmeaza regula generala. Astfel, la forma afirmativa avem:
I was//you were//he/she/it was// we were// you were// they were
La interogativ,inversam: was I? // were you? etc.
La negativ, adaugam "n`t" pentru forma scurta: I wasn`t// you weren`t, etc.
