Suddenly the dog ran from their owners in order to help a fish that was stuck over the ice and couldn't move enough to get back to the water. 
Their owners knew that their dog was indeed a brave animal and they were not even mad because he left them behind and went straight to help the fish get into the water.
The dog struggled to get to the fish because the ice was not stable enough and his legs were gliding through the surface of ice.
Eventually, the dog reached the fish and when his nostrils felt the smell of the fish, his brain went crazy in thinking of eating the fish instead of getting him back into the water.
Finally, the dog calmed down and the fish made it into the lake. Afterwards, their owners were proud of him and to show him their respect and appreciation of his action, they bought him a pound of fish from the grocery store, which the dog ate with such a wonderful pleasure.
