Everyone on Earth believe in magic, whether Christian, Muslim, animist or atheist. Irrational beliefs characterizes us all, regardless of gender, education, religion or social class.
Most people believe in paranormal phenomena such as ghosts, evil eye, dream premonitions or other intangible manifestations of power. However, even people who apparently refuse reject superstition and the supernatural existence of irrational thinking often fall in place. In recent decades, researchers have begun to better understand all these beliefs, classifying them as "magical thinking" The magical thinking explains why objects that belonged to celebrities sell for huge sums at auction and homes that had sinister events occur, such as a murder, find a buyer difficult.
