Advantages and disadvantages of using computers
The technological evolution and the invention of computers may be regarded as a benefit, but also as a disadvantage for our society.
First of all, computers and internet have brought so many essential changes in our lives: we can easily accomplish many different tasks in a large range of fields. The grown-ups can now make their current payments simply using the computer, saving time. The medical services are facilitated due to computers. So many industries use computers daily to provide more quality. Even in the educational system, the benefits of computers are obvious: teachers use them for presentations, pupils can find ideas for their projects and for their own educational interests.
On the other hand, computers can be harmful when people use them for playing games or for chatting. The fact that younger and older persons spend so much time on social media sites has a negative impact on their health: they no longer go outside for a walk, they simply stay all day long at home in front of the monitor, the seated position for long periods of time leading to disorders of the hands, backs, necks, eyes, etc. Certain sites or games can cause aggression.
The advantages and disadvantages of computers depend on what we choose to do with them.
