I am so excited because I got (SP) five Valentine cards now. First, when I opened (SP) the classroom door, I saw (SP) a big Valentine box on the teacher's desk. Next, I took (SP) my Valentine card out of my schoolbag and I dropped (SP) it in the box. 
He was writing (PC) the card. I think he stopped writing his card because he did not want (SP) me to see who he was writing (PC) to. Before the teacher came (SP) into the classroom, some children were talking (PC) and were laughing (PC).
Present Continuous:
Steve and Kate are decorating the classrom (right now). I am eating a heart-shaped chocolate from Mike.
