Ne amintim!

• Discursul indirect este un mijloc de exprimare a conținutului enunțurilor, întrebărilor sau a altor afirmații, fără a le cita în mod explicit așa cum se face în vorbirea directă.

Exemplu:

Direct speech (Vorbirea directă):

• ”I went to the shop and bought some bread”, said Tim.
• Traducere: ”M-am dus la magazin și am cumpărat niște pâine”, a spus Tim.

Reported speech (Vorbirea indirectă):

• Tim said he went to the shop and bought some bread.
• Traducere: Tim a spus că s-a dus până la magazin și a cumpărat niște pâine.
