One night I was home alone and I was playing videogames on my computer when suddenly I heard some footsteps downstairs. At first I didn't pay much attention to it, but then I heard a loud noise, like something broke. I was scared, I didn't want to go downstairs to check it out. I turned off my computer and jumped in the bed. The noises stopped, I went down to check what it was, I was still extremely scared. I was walking slowly down the stairs and I noticed someone next to the window. At this point I was teriffied, it was a tall man, wearing black clothes and he was just staring out the window. I was hiding after that tent my father bought me for my birthday. The man turned around, I thought that he noticed me, but he was just looking for some things to steal. After some time he finally left, I called my father and he came home right away, he was out having fun with his friends. He called the police and three days later a thief was found and arrested. It was the scariest night of my life, I'm glad he didn't see me.
