It was raining, so I took my umbrella. (the reason for I took my umbrella was the rain. I cannot be the cause for the rain outside). 4. My sister is older than she was a year ago. (Naturally, she's been growing older not younger). 5. Most of the lies he had told me were false. (lying is not associated with truth) 6. The snow was unbearably cold. (snow is not hot) 7. As we were in a hurry, we walked faster. (hurrying is not associated with slowness.)
