If Columbus sailed north he would have landed either on Iceland or on Greenland. In Greenland he would have found Eskimoes.
If the first men on the Moon had discovered aliens, they would have established contacts with their civilization and our nowadays world would have looked differently. If their rocket had broken down they would have been helped by the aliens.
The native Americans would have owned the land of the continent if Columbia had not landed America.
If cave people had had computers, they would not have been cave people....
