Main characters: Captain John Smith and Pocahontas, the king's dearest daughter.
Main events: A group of English people ventured to North America to find pearls, silver and gold. Captain John Smith organised the colonists forcing them to work the land, in order to have food.
One day, while they were trying to get corn from the Indians they got captured by the latter and the captain had to watch his men being killed.
Using a round ivory double compass he proved the Indian king that the earth was round and got his promise of freedom.
On the day he was brought in front of the chief, the Indians decided to kill him anyway but Pocahontas was against this decision and saved his life, proving that different nations can live together in peace and harmony.
