Verbele sunt la trecut simplu (past simple). Unele sunt regulate precum : agreed, forced, refused, looked - ele primesc terminatia “ed”.

Verbele neregulate se invata separat ele schimbandu si forma in functie de timpul folosit. Exemplu : to do, did, done.
