Now Frank's worst suspicions were confirmed. He walked quickly and silently across the street towards a telephone-box on the corner. He had to hide somewhere his wife couldn't see him. His worst fear is now real. His wife was cheating on him. He stood there, next to the telephone-box, for a while. He wanted to make sure he wasn't jumping to conclusions. But he wasn't. Everything his wife and her partner were doing couldn't have been misunderstood.
He followed them until they reached a hotel. He kept his distance making sure he is not seen. When his wife and the man that was with her entered the hotel, Frank called her on her cellphone. She didn't even pick up. So he returned home. Without her he was lost. Now he didn't know what to do. He wanted to forgive her, maybe she had good reasons to do such thing, but he knew, deep down, that she will make the same mistake soon.
