I want to assure you that I am doing everything in my power to get the laptop back to you as soon as possible. I know how important it is to you and I am fully committed to returning it to you in the same condition that it was in when I borrowed it from you.

Again, I am truly sorry for the inconvenience that I have caused you. I know that it was not my intention to cause you any hardship and I hope that you can forgive me.
