Mary îl poate vedea în supermarket.
him = object pronoun /pe cine poate Mary să-l vadă? Who can Mary see?

Mașina aceea nu e a noastră.
ours = possesive pronoun /a cui mașină nu este aceea? Whose car is that not?
5. What's your favorite ice cream?
Care e înghețata ta preferată.
your = possesive adjective / lămurește pe ice cream.
6. Don't forget it!
Nu îl (o) uita!
it = object pronoun / what should you not forget?
7. Mike is the boy who helps me with the homework.
Mike e băiatul care mă ajută cu temele.
who = relative pronoun / introduce o nouă propoziție care-l descrie pe Mike
8. The window suddenly opened itself.
Fereastra s-a deschis deodată (de la sine).
itself = reflexive pronoun / se reflectă la subiectul the window
9. The children can tie their laces by themselves.
Copii își pot lega ei înșiși (singuri) șireturile.
themselves = reflexive pronoun / despre subiectul the children/
Am liste cu toate aceste tipuri de pronume/adjective, și se găsesc în cartea de gramatică. (E bine să învățăm întrebările la care răspund, cum arată, și cum funcționează.)
Clue - Distinctie intre pronumele si adjectivul posesiv.
pronumele posesiv e plasat după substantiv (This pen is yours.), adjectivul se afla înaintea substantivului (His shoes are narrow.).
