In my opinion, my predicts for the future about transport provids the following ideas:
Firstly, we will save energy by travelling less, by being more energy efficient in travelling, and by replacing our private motorcars with taxi-buses that we can get a ride from at any time by using an app on our phone to go anywhere we want in less than an hour. If more than an hour away, we also would use a train or a plane.
More people say that we will have to use public transport that saves energy and uses renewable energy. I`m sure that taxis and buses will use bio-fuel or just electric powered and their function combined with a cellphone based app.
Secondly, the freight transport over long distances will be electric train and wind turbine powered ships.
Lastly, the motorcar and freight vehicle will still exist but most people agree that will not be used as much, because of fuel efficiencies and the greater reliance on public and corporate transport.
