Tigers become independent from their mother and the age of two to establish their own home range.
A healthy male tiger usually weighs about 150 kg and a female 110kg. The length of a healthy male is 2.5 meters and of a female 2.3 meters.
Tigers are an endangered specie and there are around only 3890 tigers left in the wild and 5000 held captive.
