Also, computers come with a rather huge space of memory, so for any game, movie, photo or other application, there will always be space at hand. 
Taking into consideration the way our society has developed in the last years, mass media could easily influence people through television. The goal of the media is to narrow the human mind, trying to make a person rely on only what is presented in a show or review. We are easily being manipulated subconsciously whether it is just buying a product we saw a celebrity use on television, or choosing who will be the next president because we saw some arguments on the news. 
In conclusion, computers are a much faster and easier way to access every information a person needs. They also give us the capability to create our own opinion of something, without being influenced by anything.
