I always thought I can handle everything alone,even though I’ve been proven several times throughout my life that I’m not able to do everything by myself.Yesterday I learned that sometimes it is okay to let people help me.
I had a conversation with my parents about my emotions and dreams.I never told them about all the times I struggled to find my potential in life,and how I’m not sure about my dreams and hopes.That’s when,for the first time,I felt safe to talk about everything I was keeping storage inside my heart and they,with a sincere smile gave me the best advices they could.I realised that I should’ve talked to them sooner.Yesterday was when I realised that my parents were my best friends.
