It was a lovely day, I was riding my bike next to my flat. Suddenly I saw my friend, Rick and I ran to him as fast as I could.
-Hi Rick!How are you?
-Hi! I'm good! What about you?
- I'm very good! Do you want to come with me? Maybe we could play with my ball.
-Yes!
The children were playing football and they had so much fun!
-Oh no, the ball is now in the middle of the street.
- I will go get it!
- Don't! You might get hurt!
- No I won't, I promise.
Rick went to get the ball and suddenly a car went by, I quickly ran and pushed Rick so he couldn't get hit.
-I should have listened to you!
-Im glad you're ok!
- Thanks, you saved my life!

Veronica is a teacher at Applelane high, a High School close to her house.
One dark evening, after she had finished her classes, she left the High School, going home. She was alone and the streets were dark and empty. No light other than the street lamp's could be seen.
While she was walking she felt like she was being followed and started walking faster. She looked out of the corner of her eye and saw a tall man who was black dressed and had a hood on.
After a few more seconds, when she heard him walking faster, she started running. The man also ran after her, almost catching her arm when someone hit the man in the head with a rock, making him pass out.
When she took a closer look at her saviour, she could recognize her colleague, John. He asked her if she was hurt or if the man did anything to her. Veronica said that he only ran after her, but she was about to be caught just before John came. He took her home and told her not to go alone ever again on dark nights like that one, when no one could be there to help. She told John before she went in: ''Thanks, you saved my life''.
