1. To make a cup of coffee, start by microwaving a cup of water for one minute. Make sure to check the quantity of water needed. Take the hot water out of the microwave and pour one tablespoon of coffee in it. Stir with a spoon and add sugar if needed.

2. If you want to boil an egg, bring the water up to a boil, then lower it to a rapid simmer. Add the eggs to the pot, and then begin timing. If you're boiling 1-2 eggs, then leave them for 5 minutes. If you intend on boiling more, leave them for 7+ minutes. After that, put the pot under a water tap and put some cold water in it.

3. For an omlette, crack how many eggs you want into a small bowl and whisk. Add some salt and pepper, if you like. Heat the oil or butter frying pan and pour in the eggs. When it's almost done sprinkle any fillings over half of the omelette and turn off the heat. Use your spatula to flip one half of the omelette over the other and serve immediately.

4. Butter a slice of white bread on both sides. You can also fry the bread on both sides, but that's optional. Add the cheese and then cook for about 3 minutes. Use medium-low heat, so the cheese has time to melt before the bread burns. After it's done, transfer to a plate and serve hot.
