-suggest something Charlie could bring to the picnic

You can tell him that you would be very happy if he attends to the picnic, because, we romanian people, are very hospitable and we take a no as an insult.

On the other hand, you can tell him to bring something like.. british tradition, something so he can break the ice and to socialize with you colleagues.

I know a game, its called activity, google it, is very nice and it breaks ice.
