According to Wikipedia the song is supposed to be about abuse and abandonment symbolized by a wall.

I feel that the artist conveys a contempt for society and its institutions, which he feels are responsible for systematic brainwashing and abuse of the masses. One interpretation may be that by saying you're just another brick in the wall is like saying you're just another piece in the structure; a supporter of an oppressive system. In other words a brainwashed "sheep" upholding the immoral values of a broken society. He talks about the wall that symbolizes confinement and imprisonment, as opposed to freedom of thought and freedom of choice.

Another interpretation: the Wall might be mental barrier that Pink has built around himself to shield himself from others mentally and emotionally. While he did this at first as a form of protection, now he feels trapped by the Wall and to feel unable to bond or share with people.

Each painful experience was a brick, and every brick symbolized a reason not to trust people, not to be human, a reason to shut yourself off from the world.

Now if you Google this question, this is what it says:
