It affected African culture a lot as the scramble basically meant that the jaor European powers will get territories which they made borders for in a convetion whidout looking at an ethnic map. So this scramble trapped many different tribes in 1 nation and ruined the lifes of the nomadic Africans as well. Many tribes were destroyed by the colonists and many modernised
