     I live in a beautiful country: Romania. Here are some interesting facts about Romania:

1. The Scărișoara glacier is underneath the Bihor Mountains. More the 3,500 years old, it is Europe’s second largest underground glacier.

2. The name Romania comes from the Latin word ‘Romanus’ or citizen of Rome, a legacy from the days when the Romans controlled ancient Dacia. Romanian is the country’s official language, and it is 1,700 years old.

3. Romania is situated halfway between the North Pole and the equator.
