The Scots and the Welsh have their history and their tra- ditions which they are very proud of.

C. The United Kingdom is a constitutional monarchy. This means that it has a king or a queen as its Head of State. The monarch has very lit- tle power and can only reign with the support of Parliament. The head of the Government, who presides over the Cabinet, is the Prime Minister.
