Inukshuk means "likeness of a person " in the language of the Inuit people(1) WHO (aici e completat cu who,exemplu) live there. Theyare build from piles of rocks which are often made ionto(2).... shape of a man with (3)..... arms or legs outstretched.
the Inuit people make inukshuit ford different purposes. They can be symbols or friendship orrespect (4) .... special people. They can also warn (5)... possible dangers or serve assighposts for travellers. They are often built so that the "arms" (6)..... pointing in the best direction (7)....go when collecting food or hunting caribou.
sometimes the Inuit people build inukshuit in long lines on each side of the tracks that the caribou walk along . Because (8).....the inukshuit it looks (9).... if there are many people. This scares the caribou and they run between the lines to the end of the track (10) ...... hunters catch and kill them , in places where there are many inukshuit stansing together like this, (11).....remind the Inuit people of the importance of friendship and dependence (12)..... each other.
